First, it is important to me that you understand that when you work with me, you are not just another “booking” for me. I don’t seek out clients who are looking for just anyone to book this hotel or that cruise, as I am not simply an order taker.
The travel industry has evolved drastically over the last several years and those who traditionally called themselves a “travel agent” were considered order takers – someone who simply booked a flight, a hotel, or a cruise and moved on to the next client. You never usually heard a word from them until the next trip. It was very transactional.
Travel has certainly become more dynamic, chaotic, and complex in all aspects. And while there are still travel agents that focus on the transactional type of interaction, my focus is on the whole travel experience – I remain engaged with you from start to finish.
I work a little differently… My compass is learning what drives your desire to travel. By uncovering this, I become your trusted travel consultant (or travel advisor) and can begin personalizing your trip according to your unique personality and travel style. For example, are you someone who wants to step into history and learn the why behind different cultures or do you dream more about ultimate relaxation where every detail is handled with ease and elegance? Perhaps you are the type who needs to step out of your comfort zone and fuel that adventurous spirit. It could be that you simply want a trip where bonding with family is the goal. All this to say that I am very meticulous when it comes to managing my client’s travel arrangements. I manage every detail with care, precision, and discretion so you don’t have much to do except pack your suitcase (I have tips for that too!).
